Butterflies

I made this card for the Sisterhood. It's January and you needed to make a card that says something about you (Me). Well, I have always loved butterflies. They are so beautiful. My favorite color is purple, but when SU came out with their Razzleberry paper, they made it for me. I love it. My background paper is from the Cottage Wall pack from SU. It's long been discontinued, but don't worry, I have it in my stash. I've been pondering all month on what to make for my card and the other day, I saw a similar card on SCS (which, of course, I cannot find now) and I immediately knew what I needed to do.

It's time for another Outlines Weekly Challenge. This week it's "Feelin' Blue". I'm not, but my little snail friend is. I stamped her shell on light blue cardstock and colored in with copics before covering her shell with icicle stickles for a little sparkle. A girl has got to shine, even when she's feeling blue. The background papers are from my new favorite Crafty paper stack.

MFT Paper Dolls

I entered this card into the MFT weekly challenge and I'm happy to say, I Won. Then, I realized I hadn't even posted it yet because I had made two challenge cards in one day. She was so fun to make. I've always loved dolls and just think she is so cute. All the dp paper is from a DCWV Crafty paper pack. The button is from SU along with the pumpkin pie card base.

Riley in Winter

I made this for the Riley challenge my good friend Kelly is hosting on the Riley & Co blog. It's always fun to dig out a Riley, he always brings a smile. The background paper is from an old winter DCWV stack. I thought it was perfect for the stamp. I added google eyes, because I feel like they can't see without them, if only I had glasses to add so they could have 20/20 vision.

It was Darlene's turn for the Mystery Image this round. I love the stamp she picked from Stamp Happens. It was a little bit of a challenge to figure out how I was going to color this beautiful image and then I thought of my cat looking out the window at all the snow and the
icicles hanging off the house.................in October.

I know I live in New England and should be prepared for such things, but it doesn't usually begin that early in the season. Needless to say, we haven't seen too much of anything in the lines of snow since.

I love the image. Thanks Darlene for putting so much thought in your hostess spot this round.

It was time to dig out my stamps to submit a winter wonderland card to the Outlines Weekly Challenge. Their challenge blog reminds me of how many gently used Outlines stamps I really do own. My snowman is from a winter block stamp with all the different winter designs. I love to make those, but days get lost sometimes putting one together. The background DP is from a DCWV winter stack that I just recently picked up and the blue is my new Spellbinders Labels Nineteen that I just acquired this week with a good coupon and a $10 reward. Thanks for looking. It's no winter wonderland here (that was at Halloween) but I'm sure our time for snow will come.
