I had a lot of fun with the image Vickie gave us to use this round. I used my Prismacolor watercolor pencils and blender pen for all the coloring. I covered the whole thing with versamark and clear embossing powder. I did that twice and then cut the image shape. I did the same thing to the sentiment. The background paper is from DCWV French Country with a couple adhesive pearls to finish it off.

Kindergarten graduation
My nephew has had such a great year in Kindergarten. The school year ends this week and he has a ceremony. I made him this card with the Sizzix Owl #2 die. My googlie eyes and graduation stickers are from Hobby Lobby. I made the diploma from a rolled up piece of cardstock and the tassel is made of embroidery floss. The paper inside is from DCWV Back to School stack. The apple is from MFT stamps and so is the pocket for the money holder.

It's Reveal Day
Kelly provided us with such an adorable stamped image this round. It's Hug-a-Bull by Sweet Pea Designs. What a cute stamp. I made a 5 1/2" square card, the dotted background is from DCWV Lemon Flower and the red print is from DCWV Farmer's Market stacks. Thank you Kelly for hosting.

My New Addiction
I found the line of Papertrey stitching dies last fall and I've been stitching away ever since. But, this bicycle that just came out is my absolute favorite so far. They are so easy to work with since the stitching holes are part of the die. I just need to order some tan felt so my bicycle can have a woven basket.

Happy Birthday, Jon
After losing my brother to cancer at age 49 a few summers ago, I have tried to embrace getting older. I was thrilled to celebrate my 2nd older brother' s birthday. He's 3 years older than me, my oldest brother was 5 years older. Anyway, yesterday was his 51st birthday. He's special needs and doesn't worry about getting older, it's the excitement of presents and cake, getting cards from his coworkers, and just enjoying the day. So I finally took the time yesterday am to make his card and this is what I did. I wasn't there to see him open it. But I'm sure he took a minute or two to figure out how the sequins, bead, etc. Got in the middle of the card. The die is from mft stamps. A lot of fun to work with. Now, we have 4 more family birthdays this week, so I better get busy on making some more cards to celebrate.

Mystery reveal time
Here's my card for Tracy's round. I kept it pretty simple (a little short on time). I fussy cut around the gumball machine and popped up the "Have a double bubble day!) Thanks for such a fun image, Tracy.
